Professor Collins shares an incident from college where another student borrowed a quarter from her and did not pay her back. She cites this as an incident that opened her eyes to thinking about class inequality. It challenged her “race-only” frame.
Have you had a social interaction or moment that made you feel your own understanding of why the world is the way it is was challenged or simply opened up?
I’m to have enlightened understanding of great things about me at 33 one day soon. Surely, I thought of me and astonished and even impressed – wow, I’m (hve something of compliment to state ) – what? What interaction? wha moment? What thing? I think momements my doings and sometimes are sociological interactions.
In politics I had a lot of social interactions. but no foundations or declarations based on on individual. The blatant forward, obvious, intentional, admitting hypocrisy and biogotry in politics to me, Rosette made no sense. While they do this stating seeking, better things for theirself in the light of presentationed to me they don’t assault or worse. Now bad example and very obvious to me. Something to make me think of another issue.
