A vision board is a start. Like a goal list. Where do you want to be in the next 15 years. How about where do you want to be right now. The actions you took in the past might have just led you to all the situations you find yourself in today. That celebration and consequence is the result of your mind and discipline combined with your behavior of what actions you completed and what things you left unfinished.
Your life can follow the dreams on your vision board as you move through the motions. What does your heart ask you? Your gut? Your mind? What you answer to these questions by responding affirmatively will be upon a way that will get you closer or further from your goal.
What was it you heard growing up? You can be whatever you want to be. You can do whatever you want to do. What and where does that lead to ?
It’s scary, the idea of success. It’s said we are more afraid of success than failure. Will we be happy if we have our success, our vision? It is important to find out what you are really after. That way you can seek the honest core of your goals.
While a vision board or goal list is just a start- you can develop the list in detail and expand your life actions around those visions in your mind. If you want to save a million dollars, you might not buy steak once or twice a week. Instead you might try buying a steak every other month to save a small fortune. Or how about if you want to lose weight? You watch what kind of nutritional items you put in your cart at the grocery store while shopping at the store while you have already eaten And add a 30 minute walk on your days off of work. A masterpiece is created with effort, talent, discipline, work, and time, among other things. You complete this masterpiece per se by involving yourself in these mentioned caveats in order to implement the opportunity to tie in your success.
Satisfaction may be reached or not but what then? The inner workings of seeking what it is you really desire is ongoing because life is ever-changing. Goals are changing. As we get closer to the goal, the goal suddenly changes to something different. What do you want now? A vision board or goal list might be a start.
